This group aims to support and encourage the production of monochrome images through traditional darkroom and digital techniques. Meetings vary from having a guest speaker showing their work, discussing a given topic or simply showing our individual work and getting feedback from other group members – or a mixture of all three!

The meetings are informal and the discussion of images, sharing knowledge, learning and improving technical and creative skills are what make the meetings successful. Members of all standards are most welcome - from beginners upwards.

To cover the cost of the room, we ask for £5 for the year from members who expect to attend more than a couple of times.

If you work digitally, a paper explaining the common methods of converting colour images to mono is available |here| (Issued December 2007)
