APS  Annual Exhibitions

Our 2022 70th Annual Exhibition took place  Tuesday~Saturday,  23~27th August, 2022, again at St Michael and All Angels Church, 70 Sycamore Road, Amersham HP6 5DR ( The church in the High Street of Amersham on the Hill, between HSBC & Robert Dyas. Google Maps link:

The Annual Exhibition is an opportunity for us to show the best work of our members, from beginners to seasoned pros. It is not judged competitively and work from all members is welcome.
Any print is eligible if it has not been entered in a previous APS exhibition. Each member may submit up to four prints. A minimum of two prints will be selected but limitations of panel space may mean that not all submitted prints will be used.
Prints should measure exactly 50 x 40 cm, including the mount, which should be off-white and meet the usual print requirements for competitions. A very few may be allowed outside this specification only by special arrangement after consultation with the Exhibition Secretary.

Please also send a normal PDI copy (ie. 1600px x 1200px jpeg, as you would send for a PDI competition) of your prints to web@amershamphotosoc.com unless you don’t want them to appear on the website slideshow of the exhibition entries

Arrangements for collection of prints :

Arrangements are made each year.

Notes for APS members:

• The external measurements of the mount plus print should measure exactly 50 x 40cm.
• The mount should be off-white.
• Prints must be submitted in portfolio cases which are clearly labelled with your name.
• Prints may be submitted in protective plastic sleeves. However, these will be removed for hanging in the exhibition.
• Prints must have the title and the author’s name on the reverse.
• No names or titles on front.
• No Velcro. No sticky remains.
• Print label details must be the same as the those on your Entry Form and must contain no more than 40 characters (including spaces).  Please don’t add your qualifications or distinctions to the titles.
• Details on the entry form are used to produce the display labels – this includes your name, the print title and any spelling mistakes.
• Prints without a completed entry form will not be accepted.
