A new APS Group!
The APS On-Line Group with real-time interactive photo editing
The Group was originally created to allow Mono Group members an opportunity to discuss their images when they could not regularly attend traditional in-person meetings, whether due to distance, mobility, work commitments, or personal circumstances. After a successful first year, the Group is now opening up to all APS members and embracing all types of images.
We offer an accessible and welcoming alternative to live meetings for both emerging photographers and seasoned members. Members’ photos are interactively edited in real time using Lightroom. As we edit an image, others can observe the workflow, ask about specific techniques, and suggest alternative methods.
The immediacy of feedback, collaborative learning, and exposure to diverse perspectives should aid creative growth and creativity. The sense of community, technical mastery and professional development opportunities makes our group very useful for photographers at any stage of their journey.
Especially for those unable to regularly attend live, in-person meetings, we offer a flexible, inclusive, and inspiring way to connect, learn, and create. Whether you’re looking to hone your skills, find inspiration, or simply connect with other members, the On-Line Group could be for you.
We meet via Zoom five times a year at 8.00 to 10.00 pm on the fourth Thursday of those months that do not clash with other APS activities (see the programme for dates). You will be invited to submit up to three images per meeting, one of which should be a monochrome image.
If you are interested in joining us, please contact Tony Wright at online@amershamphotosoc.com or APS address.

We have more than twenty members galleries. One image from each of the galleries will usually be selected for the Home Page slide show (above) which is refreshed from time to time.
See the Members Galleries page for the PDF explaining how to get a gallery published there.
